Many years later, Eric plays hockey professionally while Alex is running a large company. Eric always seemed to follow Alex's lead. They spent time together while their fathers were working. There is just something about the way she tells a story that works for me so I was really excited to read this new book and I ended up enjoying every moment of it.Eric and Alex were childhood friends. I only discovered Sarina Bowen less than two years ago and I have read all of her books yet but I have read quite a few. This was just what I needed! I wanted a sexy, feel-good romance with wonderful characters and an abundance of chemistry and that is exactly what I got. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader's copy of this book. I recommend this book to people that enjoy friends to lovers romance with lots of action.
I love that characters from Sarina Bowen’s Brooklyn Bruisers Series make appearances in this novel. The characters are challenged and grow throughout the story. They eventually fall back to the ease of their friendship in their youth and act on their attraction to one another. They start the story in an awkward situation. Be warned, this book is hard to put down.I love the characters. It is skillfully written and full of twists. Moonlighter has a little of everything: romance, drama, humor, action, sports, and corporate espionage. It takes place in New York and Hawaii.I adored this story.
